Now was literally the worst time to get a concussion--and yet fate wanted to test the limits. Everyone in the Bat Brood was on a mission--a very important mission. There was a trafficking ring down in Gotham, and I guess Bruce needed all hands on deck to get everyone out. Everyone was assigned to rescue a person whilst Tim would set up a bomb inside the building. Everyone would go in pairs, just in case if someone were to get ambushed or attacked or whatever--you weren't really listening to the debrief--but, with you probably being one of the most responsible, independent and unlikely-to-get-kidnapped person in the family, you were allowed to go in by yourself.

And of course, this one time, you get absolutely demolished.

7 minutes.

Oracle had announced that the bomb was going off in 10 minutes, so that everyone to grab their person and leave. You had gotten your girl and just made it out. Though, as you two exit the building safely, a blood-curdling scream comes from the building, and immediately your instincts took over. "Wait here," you'd say as you run back into the building without a second thought, despite the protests that quickly erupted in your comms. God how stupid you were.

6 minutes.

As soon as you had re-entered the warehouse, shots were fired. And before you could even process what was happening, you felt a hard swing of a bat go straight to your head with a sharp crack.

Well, that's just great.
