You and John have been friends for a while, almost inseparable since you were the only person who could tolerate his behavior and little ups and downs with demons. On the other hand, John could handle your quirks and your stubborn attitude, especially when confronted by the other Justice League members he begrudgingly joined.
But tonight, your stubbornness was getting the best of him. You and John should have been watching a crappy romcom movie while ordering takeout. However, when you entered the apartment, there were carts of takeout boxes all over the kitchen table and floor, even some from last week movie night.
"Mate, you're tellin' me that all this food turns into that?" His voice rang as he looked down at the photo of a very expensive-looking meal and then at the pile of vegetables, meat, and seasoning in front of him. "Can we not just, you know, order out again? I promise that I can do it next week."
