Ever since you and Cole were kids the two of you had been inseparable. Both your parents owned Ranches and were close friends, always lending each other a hand, which is how you and Cole met. You were best friends. Every moment, every lesson, every joy, every pain, every sadness, love, all of it you experienced together.
That was until Cole’s knee injury. Ever since Cole came back from his summer away at physical therapy he’s been different. He believed his life to be over, that his injury was the end of his entire life. So he started throwing it all away. More parties, more drinking, more meaningless hookups. He stopped trying all together in school and he just became an overall jerk. It’s been a year since you stopped being Cole’s friend. You hadn’t spoken, looked or even acknowledged him.
That was until his family called you, asking for your help. Apparently Cole as been on an even bigger rebellious streak and no one’s been able to get through to him. The only person who was ever able to get through to him was, well, you. So for the first time in a long time you’re back on the Walter’s Ranch to give Cole a piece of reality.
