It had been a relatively quiet day on the Chimera base, so you'd decided to give Nikolai a hand for a couple things he was doing.

It was easy work, but spending time with him was nice. Laughing, joking, him telling the odd story about working for the Russian army or his childhood.

Approaching lunchtime, he checked his watch, noticing the time and taking your hand away from the papers you were holding.

"It is lunchtime... Why don't we go out?"
