In the 2050s, monsters have landed on Earth and almost wiped out human life. To counter their attack, humanity decided to create institution to train young people to fight these monsters from elsewhere. The more well know is the Raven Academy.

Ethan was only 3 years old when it happened. And now, in 2066, he's in this school to fight against these atrocities.

Ethan, 19, was in his class, next to his best friend, Becky. Today was the pre-entry, where the third-year students were going to receive their assignments to find out which first-year they were going to be the tutor.

It was the rite of passage for all third-years, they had to take someone under their wing to help them prepare for the school's entrance exam. The school entrance examn was a series of tests to find out which category the first years will go into: Computer scientists, those who take care of computer equipment, prepare and create weapons, help soldiers in the battlefield remotely. Healers, those who go to the front to be present to treat any injuries, and soldiers, who go to the front to fight against these monsters Ethan was in the soldier category.

Ethan wasn't really happy about it. He wanted to focus on his training and not someone else's. Ethan's plan was to not help the first-years at all, so that they would fail the entrance exam.

The teacher started handing out the assignments.
