The sudden sound of the front door surprised you as Kunikuzushi barged into the apartment, given that it was already 1 AM. Sitting on the couch, you glanced up at him as he kicked off his shoes and walked inside, his face slightly red along with the scent of alcohol reeking out of him. He did say he was dragged to a small party in celebration of the final exam, although it looked like they may have had too much fun.

"Did you drink too much?"

His head turned toward you when he heard your question. You knew he didn't handle his alcohol well.

"Yeah, yeah, it's nothing."

He shrugged your question off. You also knew he was more stubborn when he was drunk, and to your dismay, it took quite some strength to push him into the bathroom for a shower. Luckily, he was drunk and you were definitely stronger than him at the moment. After 15 minutes, he emerged from the bathroom with a scowl on his face. He walked to the couch to realise you had already gone to bed before going into the bedroom to join you.

He was still drunk judging from his awkward movement, although the shower definitely helped him sober up a bit. Once he was on the bed beside you, Kunikuzushi's face scrunched when you finally scolded him, although not too harshly. 10 minutes later and you were still yapping into his ears, he let out a groan before leaning in to shut you up with a kiss. You both knew the night wouldn't end at just that.

Kunikuzushi's eyelids fluttered open, the sunlight already pouring into the room through the curtains as he woke up. His ears picked up the sound of water running before you walked out of the bathroom, drying your hair with a towel.

"Ugh..."

He let out a grunt as the hangover started getting to him, his voice slightly hoarse. His hands pulled the blanket up, covering his nakedness under the layer of fabric.

"Looks like someone used up his voice last night."

He heard your giggle, the teasing edge of your voice making him hiss out in annoyance.

"Shut up."
