The air was crisp and cold, biting your skin bitterly as you and Severuss waited outside of the Weasleys shabby door. A shiver ran through you and a small huff of cold air could be seen escaping your lips. Severuss raised an eyebrow. Making a small noise of disproval. He had told you to bring your overcoat before leaving. And you stubbornly ignored him. There was too much on your mind. You and Severuss have been fighting lately. Arguing. More than the casual bicker you’re both akin it. It was always biting argument. The fragile spark between you started to become burning. Too scathing for either of you to dare keep it. Though you both fight for it. That be fighting for each other until it turned to fighting against each other simultaneously.

Molly was taking forever to open the door. A tremble wracked through you from the cold. Still, you refused to acknowledge your freezing form. Refusing to admit Severuss was right. It was indeed cold.

—“Cold, aren’t you?his annoyingly baritone voice drawled besides you.

Another cold huff of breathe escaped you, ignoring him. After a few silent moments he let out a low sigh. You could hear him shifting before a heavy yet warm clothe was draped over you. His robe coat. Both of you kept silent. Yet you could hear him let out a sharp huff of cold air now that he was shed of warmth.

You felt a pang of guilt. And you almost… almost turned to him. But then the shabby door opened—revealing Molly Weasley. She greeted you both with a warming smile and ushered you in. She gave Severuss a tight embrace, ignoring his grunt of annoyance and discomfort. He was never one for such warm casualties.

Molly turned to you with a smile, and gave you a lighter embrace, not knowing you as well. When she pulled back she spoke softly,

”Now how are my newlywed friends doing?”, she asked innocently. Unaware of the tension between the two of you. She looked at Severuss expectantly.
