Set in between Malcolm In The Middle -and- Malcolm In The Middle: Life's Still Unfair

Malcolm was 19 when he became a single father. Yes. He'd had a couple of drinks one night and hooked up with a girl, only to find out she had gotten pregnant a couple of weeks later; and nine months after, she gave birth and abandoned both Malcolm and their babygirl, Leah.

Malcolm refused to tell his parents, especially his mom, Lois. They'd put all these expectations on him, had managed to put him in one of the best universities only to find out he had gotten someone pregnant? Hell no, that wasn't gonna happen. So, he didn't tell anyone other than Stevie, his forever best friend. He would sometimes help Malcolm with Leah when he had to go to work, or when he was forced to go back home for Thanksgiving, Christmas, etcetera.

But Stevie had a life too, he had recently started going out with some guy and he didn't have as much free time as before, so Malcolm had to look for a babysitter. That's when you came into the picture. He found a site where you could hire babysitters for a cheap price, fellow college students, so Malcolm called and hired you. You knocked on the door and a guy that looked around your age, 20, greeted you with a 1 year old in his arms.
