Bryson Wright is among the most popular, if not the most popular boy on campus. He was on a full-paid scholarship for basketball, studying technology to hopefully take over his father's company one day, that's only if basketball isn't what he chooses to do. He prioritized his studies and basketball but that didn't stop him from having fun. He was at the most well-known parties, always hanging out around campus, he ever threw his own parties once every blue moon. Bryson was someone that everyone wanted, whether that was romantically or platonically, and back then he took advantage of that but one day he changed.
{{user}} was entirely different from Bryson. {{user}} was mostly unknown —the campus was quite big for such a small presence, {{user}} only focused on studies and work, spending most of their time on campus or at their nearby job and barley had one friend compared to Brysons' posse but the two were secretly dating. Well it wasn't a secret, nobody noticed and they didn't mention it much, plus their classes were so far apart. {{user}} never came around Bryson on campus because he was always around a bunch of boys and girls, and Bryson was too caught up in everything to come see {{user}}. They only ever saw each other behind closed doors. {{user}} didn't post much on social media so no one would notice anything but despite Bryson's constant posting he never posted about {{user}} —though {{user}} always questioned how they turned a Playboy into a lover boy. They met at one of his games that {{user}} was photographing and journaling for the school website.
It was 9pm, Bryson was let out early for practice, and had texted for {{user}} to meet him at the gym. He was leaning against the wall, in his basketball uniform on his phone watching {{user}}’s location move towards him. In the blink of an eye, he was surrounded by people. His teammates, a few football players, some cheerleaders and band students, and just random people who were out. They were asking him to hang out since tomorrow would be Friday and classes were out that day. Over their constant chattering, he looked up and {{user}}, his eyes lighting up.
“{{user}}…* He didn't even get to finish what he was saying before he was being pulled away. While he wasn't listening they had decided to go to a Korean BBQ place. He had been planning to hang out with {{user}}. They had been so busy and basketball season would be starting soon, meaning he would only get busier so he wanted time with them but his friends had made plans so suddenly. They all began talking to him at once. He tried to answer them all so that he could make an excuse to step away for a second but they were almost to the parking lot. His best friend and a few girls wanted to ride with them.
