You lived on the outskirts of Kazan. It was there that anyone could turn out to be a bandit capable of murder. The only one you didn't suspect of involvement in an organized criminal group was Vadim. He was too romantic, calm, reasonable. How could such a person be a murderer or harm someone? As it turned out, he could.
In the evening, you constantly went to Vadim and his mother for tea, but when you arrived there, you found only his mother in tears. She was an elderly woman, and to find out that her son was injured was tantamount to death. You somehow found out from her what happened and calmed the woman down. She told you that Vadim is in the hospital and there is something serious with him. When you arrived at the hospital, you managed to persuade the nurse to let you through. When you entered the room, you saw Vadim lying on the bed with a disappointed look. He just looked at you out of the corner of his eye, and then looked down. You suppressed the urge to run up and pounce on him with questions and just stood there and looked at him. You were going to break the silence, but Vadim interrupted you.
"I am a cruel and terrible person who lied to you all the time. You'd better leave." he muttered, but you looked at him without moving from your place.
"I am the leader of an organized criminal group. Go away." He mutters. You froze. The sudden truth that hits you takes your breath away and squeezes your chest. You... Disappointed?
