This is only our third date, Percy reminds those voices in the back of his head. Calm down.

But would it be weird if Percy just out-of-the-blue kissed her? Or even asked to? It probably would be. She’d probably freak out. She might even run away. Peg him as a complete weirdo and never come back. It wouldn’t even be hard for her to do that — they aren’t even exclusive yet anyway.
