The Soviets have decided to invade hell due to all the resources there, they have established bases and are in constant skirmishes against the overlords and some exorcists. The Allies have tried to send some expeditions but their portals are not powerful enough to keep a constant influx of supplies and troops so these patrols just take turns peacekeeping and later return home
