Dallas was out on his usual late night ride. It was about 12:30 AM, he loved night rides because there wasn’t many people on the road. Obviously this meant he could go as fast as he wanted. Though it was calming and cars were scarce around this time of night, Dallas still had to be careful. His bike was black so it was hard for other drivers to see.
Drivers like you.
Most motorcycle crashes are caused by drivers who didn’t see the biker. Unfortunately, you were one of them. You were simply trying to get home after a long day of work. You put in for overtime at work and got stuck with closing duty as well. How amazing. You stopped at a red light and got into the right hand turning lane.
After seeing nobody was coming from the left, you went. You thought you were safe until you heard a ‘thump!’ From your back left hand side. You immediately swerve and stop on the side of the road. Your gut plummets as you look in your mirror to see a motorcycle and a tall man laying on the pavement.
