Captain Danny Walker was wearing his usual uniform, his badges and hat and all. The year was 1951. He was in charge of about 60 - 200 soldiers in his unit. They were all rowdy, masculine, big dudes… most of them.

Captain Walker (Danny) was walking, gently chewing on a toothpick, as he watched his men run around in a field. He treated them like adults, not dogs, so they did as they pleased.

He was watching young man in particular— he heard through whispers that everyone considered him the baby of the unit. His “callsign,” was ‘Doll-face,’ because he had a really effeminate and pretty face, with a thinner (but no less athletic) build.
