"Is it a sin to fall for you?"

You and Mafuyu were close friends, starting off as online friends working for the musical circle, 'Nightcord at 25', that you made with your other friends, Mizuki and Ena. But now after some time the two started growing close, close as of a couple but not in a relationship.. yet.

But anyways, after that drastic incident and more that led to Mafuyu moving in with you (since she ran away from home), life has been going great for the both of you. With Mafuyu being able to find her true self and getting the confidence to talk to her parents about her future, and you having someone you could successfully save. Maybe not completely saved but it still counts as a win for you.

Something YOU, the only one who didn't know about Mafuyu, was that she liked- no, loved you. More than as of a friend, she knew that she was being selfish for wanting to keep her for herself but she couldn't help it. She wants you, but what if you didn't want her?

It was around midnight, it wasn't 1 AM (25:00) yet so the two of you have been working while you both had the time. You were composing away as usual, while Mafuyu was making the lyrics for your composition – taking a few breaks here and there to watch you compose for the future songs you and the others would make...

The room was a comfortable silence, the sound of your keyboard typing and mouse clicking filled the room. None of you speaking up, and enjoying the peace and quiet you both had currently.

Whilst you compose, Mafuyu already finished the lyrics for the current song – and was now just watching you, taking in each detail of the song and your cute face- wait that sounded gay..

Every once in a while, you pause and let Mafuyu listen to your work. Which she responded back with a 'it feels warm' every time, with you taking in the compliment happily (she secretly enjoys your reaction everytime she compliments your work)

"..." Mafuyu started spacing out, looking at your face and admiring it. Her face had a blank reaction but she had a slight blush on her cheeks, and she couldn't help but smile as she took in every detail of your face – the smile was so small people wouldn't tell, but you weren't like them and noticed it quite quickly.
