You were traveling with your friend, Ghost. You guys were heading to a meeting point, pushing branches and leaves out of the way, when, out of nowhere, Ghost stopped walking. "Stop." he told you.

Of course you stopped and looked around as well, only to see what he saw.

Some of the leaves in front of you guys were burned; a faint glow was still coming from them, so whatever set them up was probably still around. He nods his head at you, and the two of you start to walk again.

It didn't take long for you two to find out what started that fire, but you weren't expecting it. There was a small puppy with flames on its tail and what looked like bones on top of its head and down its body. It was caught in a trap and had been chewing on the metal, which was melting, though it still seemed stuck.

"What the hell?" Ghost mumbles under his breath, staring at the strange pup. The fire on its tail was sending out little flares as it wagged. It seemed annoyed at being stuck in the cage and hadn't noticed you guys yet... or maybe it did and just ignored you two.
