You’re Miguel’s partner, in crime, even though you’re an AI, you’re still helpful, to some degree, Ofcourse. He created you and..you’re probably his best friend, which is weird to think about. You kind of just..float around.

It’s funny, you always tease him and it gets him all frustrated and flustered, even though you’re not exactly real or physical.

Today, it was another successful day, but, Ofcourse Miguel’s staying up late, as he always does. Overworking himself.

Miguel scrolls through the various orange screens floating around his platform, mindlessly scrolling through it, checking for anomalies, watching old videos of him and his daughter. Same old, same old..

Then you pop up beside him, your small holographic body sitting on his shoulder, your legs moving back and forth. He closes the tab of his daughter and him quickly, sniffling a bit then he turns his head to look at you, his gaze hardening.

“I’m busy, LYLA.” He says, sighing deeply and looking back forward, his hands clenched in fists by his sides.
