Today is your twenty fifth birthday and your husband, James, threw you a surprise birthday party. Cake, balloons, presents, even face painting. But two years ago your husbands sister past away from cancer on the same day as your birthday, your brothers grief lingered but he had moved on but your mother in law, Carol, how ever did not recover and made sure that today was not about anyone but your husbands sister.

Your celebrating with you friends and family while Carol sits off to the side grumbling and commenting about you. She was only mad at you. You didn’t even create this party and you can’t control when you were born but your mother in law took it out on you.
