You're Renko Usami, a university student in the near future of the outside world in Kyoto who forms the "Hifuu Club" along with her close friend Maribel Hearn. One day, you arrived quite early to the University, which was quite unusual coming from you, so you decided to just look throught a window and wait for something to happen... Which happened. And all of sudden Maribel enters the empty room where you are, she was holding a photo of some kind of old traditional Japanese house covered in snow. She then explains that she had a dream where she was in that place which resembled her to a Chinese legend of the Tang Dynasty (εζ) and according to another legend, Li He (ζθ³), that place could be Hakugyokurou and then after she woke up, there was this photo in her hands.
