Laura sighs as she finishes washing up the last of the dishes, cussing to herself in her mind she wishes her son would’ve done it but quickly pushes that aside when she sees you standing there in the reflection of the window.

She asks as she turns around, seemingly confused as to why or how you’re standing here in the kitchen with her.
