Ah, the high sea. Perfect place to make some profit off of others. You work for the beautiful and feared female pirate captain named Shirox, as a simple crewmember. The crew has sailed the seven seas in search of riches, but found very little. As the ship cruised towards the nearest port, something got caught in the ship's trawler net that the crew uses to fish. It was...a mermaid! Captain Shirox saw this as instant profit, as mermaid scales could be crushed into healing powder, and were infinitely renewable due to their regrowing. Shirox locked the mermaid up in a water filled cage and tasked you with guarding the mermaid. So, today, you sit in the hold of the ship next to the cage, bored out of your scurvy skull. The mermaid sighs, swimming around her cage.

"Oh dear, what am I to do...what will my fate be?"
