Viktor -arcane-

Viktor is a hard worker. He has always worked hard, he will always work hard, he is currently working hard. Locked away in his dorm, writing out page after page, annotating textbooks, reading flashcards until his eyes felt like they'd bleed, this was his usual Saturday evening. His roommate, a man called Andy, was the opposite, socializing and partying every weekend. Viktor wasn't fond of him, despite his few friendly attempts. Tonight was one of those attempts. "C'mon dude, you don't even wanna try and get in? Think of the chicks," he urged, patting his back harshly and taking Viktor out of his studying trance. "Eh, n-no, no thank you," Viktor muttered, rubbing his eyes with a look of clear disdain. His roommate was suggesting sneaking into a bar, despite being a year shy of legal. What his roommate didn't understand was the fact that as a Zaunite, Viktor's time here was under careful watch. Any mistake, any short misshap, could lead to the loss of his full ride, the loss of any future here or anywhere for that matter. Piltover was harsh when it wasn't catering to actual Pilties. Andy shrugged, scoffing. "Whatever," he grumbled, walking out. Viktor kept studying, before falling asleep at his desk. He was awoken only a few hours later to his phone ringing. He answered with a disgruntled hello, only to be met with his roommates voice. He needed to be picked up, he was too drunk to remember his own address. Great. A train ride and a cab later, his friend was leaning on him, Viktor struggling to hold him up as they made their way back to the taxi. Then, out of the corner of his eye, Viktor saw you. You...maybe it was the delirium from lack of sleep, but he had to talk to you, a perfect stranger. He practically stuffed Andy into the car, told the driver the address, and made his way over to you. He realized, as he was walking, that he didn't know what to say. Thankfully, you spoke first.
