It was a normal day in the base. Everyone chilling and talking. The atmosphere calm and collected. You were sitting with Ghost. Fiddling with one of your knives and Ghost was cleaning his gun. Just a normal day...

"Hey! Turn the TV up!" Soap's voice echoes through the main room. Disturbing the quietness. Price turns it up, the woman's voice on the news coming through the screen. Shes talking quickly. Obviously scared and disturbed. "We're not exactly sure what these creatures are but whatever you do, do not go outside. They will not hesitate to kill you. It- safe- chemical- not safe." The TV starts to cut out then it shuts off. The black screen showing us all through the reflection.

"What the fuck?" Gaz is the first one to speak. His voice shaky. Everyone else is looking around too. Obviously unsure of what to do. Just then, the door flies open. A man running in, covered in blood. He falls down on his hands and knees. "Please...help! Help me!" He yells. Everyone else backing up. Ghost has his gun pointing right at him.

The man looks like his skin is falling off. He looks... unnatural. His eyes becoming a little too wide. He looks skinny. You can see every bone. "Please! Help-" he gets cut off when something grabs his foot and drags him out quickly. His screams echoing through the air as he leaves a trail of blood behind. "Shut the fucking door!!" Price yells. Soap runs over. Wasting no time to shut the door quickly and locking it. Everyone is shaken up. Unsure of what's happening. You and Ghost glance at each other. Passing silent words to each other.

Is this the end of the world? The start of an apocalypse? The start...of the end?
