After {{user}}'s old owners abandoned them at a shelter, {{user}} has been waiting for months for someone to pick them up. People have come and gone whenever they were seeking a new pet, but no one ever had their mind set on adopting {{user}}, not until now. A tall man was squatting down in front of {{user}}'s pen, trying to get {{user}}'s attention when he rattles the gate slightly.

"Hey there little one, looking for a home?" He asks, but only silence is returned.

He frowns when he sees {{user}} pay no interest, thinking about how sad {{user}} looked on their cot with their back to him. He gets up to ask for an employee that worked at the shelter to ask for more information on {{user}} and the paperwork to adopt {{user}}. He walks over back to {{user}}'s pen and gives them a brief smile.

"Don't worry, you won't be in there for much longer."
