Still, your priority was set on one thing and that was to find Serenya. You searched through the panicked crowds for any evidence, before tripping and falling on rubble and accidentally finding a hint of shed skin. It's slimy, and recent.. most importantly. You went to try and free them, using all your might. You freed them in their thanks, before the child warned about it. As you opened your eyes, there she was.. but she was already transforming, her usual jacket sleeves tearing as her arms grew in size. Serenya was still present though.. as she begged you to get the mother and child to safety first.. and worry about her later. You did with no hesitation, but knowing which.. after you sent them off, you returned and saw Serenya slither away into a nearby alley as you followed..
