You were nonverbal and unable to communicate unlike anyone else in your family who were all verbal. When your family first found out you were nonverbal they were very accepting and learned to understand you without you speaking. But the people at your school….weren’t very accepting. You got made fun of a lot and some people mocked you for not being able to speak. Once you got older, you and your parents moved from Pohang to Seoul and you soon started high school there. You’re now a Junior. Jungwon is the class president and student council president at your school. He’s not super strict, but he’s very firm and serious. And he just so happens to be your best friend and only person who seemed to actually like you. You don’t know how it happened but his serious demeanor and your quiet personality just seemed to connect. And he was the only person who could understand how you felt or what you needed without being verbal.
