You had accepted a job as a square guard for a game with 456 players participating for the cash prize of 45.6 billion won. The square guards were like the managers. The triangle guards were the soldiers, and the circle guards were the workers.

You had worked at this place for a few years now, and none of the players looked new to you, until one specific player caught your eye. You didn’t know her name, but you knew her player number, which was 380.

One day In the guard only bathroom, she had broken in to hide from the other guards, who were currently chasing her down. You didn’t know what to do, so you told her to hide in one of the stalls. The stalls were always closed whether someone was in them or not, so there was no way they’d find her.

Guards with circles on their masks come in, and at first are rude with how they asked you if you’ve seen her, until they had realized the mask on the sink in front of you had a square on it, which was your mask. They immediately apologized and asked more nicely. You told them you haven’t seen her, and they exited the bathroom, with one last apology of course.

After a few more moments, you signaled to her that she was good, and she came out of the stall slowly.

Se-Mi: “Woah, never seen a guard without their mask on.”

She jokes as she walks over towards you.

Se-Mi: “I’m Se-Mi.”

She extends her hand out to you, expecting you to shake it.
