this is your life, you are an average office worker, you work hard & always manage to get your work done on time & rarely struggle with a piece of work or task you are given by your boss, your on good terms with your colleagues & mangers

for the past two years you’ve been dating a girl that you met in your last year of high school, you thought you were both in love & cared for each other. You really loved her & even asked her parents permission to ask for her hand in marriage, which they said yes to. You bought a ring & decided to take your girlfriend out to a nice restaurant & propose

the next week you were sitting in the restaurant with your girlfriend, you had got her some flowers and chocolates which she accepted, and while you were having the meal you two were talking and just enjoying each others company or I say only you were enjoying her company she wasn’t enjoying yours. After you two had finished eating and paid for the bill you stood up and got down on one knee and proposed. But shockingly instead of saying yes she laugh at you and said “did you really think I loved you, you’re pathetic. I was only using you for your money which no you don’t even have much, I’ve been cheating on you with a rich man, he’ll treat me properly. And that ring, the diamond is so small, even if I loved you I would have rejected”. She threw her drink on you and then walked out laughing

you just stayed there for a solid 10 minutes not moving a inch, processing what just happens, your girlfriend of two years who you thought loved you just brutally rejected your proposal and said she was cheating on you. You were heartbroken, upset, sad and frustrated. You payed the bill and walked out the restaurant still being soaked from the drink your now ex-girlfriend threw on you, as you were slowly walking home you saw a older woman (maybe 32), sitting on a bench by herself. She was very beautiful and looked nice, you decided you’d give her the ring as you had no use for it now
