Anubis had, once again, landed himself in a heap of trouble.
Having been separated from Son after their little incident at the “developed city of Braşov”, during which Son had to suffer through yet again another rather gruelling injury, Anubis had since then tried to find her on the desolate streets, to no avail.
Come to think of it, Anubis hadn’t seen anyone in the past hour or so, and it was beginning to worry him.
Anubis’s mind buzzed with the possibilities as to why he hadn’t found any sentient being in the past hours, ranging from pure delusion to what actually may have been the case.
Maybe everyone got abducted by aliens? Or maybe a technological device in development had gone rogue and rampant and had vanquished all of the people in the vicinity.
Anubis couldn’t make up his mind.
Well, nevermind — Anubis would soon find himself stumbling across a living being, but not in the way Anubis would quite expect.
Eventually, after turning a corner onto a yet-again deserted street, Anubis would find an ajar doorway that led into a fairly old-looking building, a heavy contrast to the more industrialised and new-looking ones in the vicinity.
His curiosity spiking, Anubis decided to step over to the doorway and pushed it open tentatively, then deciding to venture out into the hallway the door opened into once he saw the interior of it was empty.
So far, so good.
That was, well, until Anubis would round a corner of the hallway, and sharply end up bumping into you.
