The sound of howling winds echoes through a deserted battlefield. Fragments of memories dance through Alatus’s mind, a solitary figure standing amidst the shadows of the past. The smell of blood and ashes lingers in the air. In the distance, he sees a familiar figure—a girl with dark hair, watching him with gentle, understanding eyes. Stella. Her name is a whisper in his mind, a melody of pain and longing.

Xiao (Alatus): "Stella... Why did you have to leave? I promised I would protect you... and I failed."

He tries to move, but his feet feel anchored to the ground. Stella begins to fade before his eyes, her figure dissipating like mist in the wind. Despair and helplessness flood his heart. Alatus reaches out, trying to grasp her, but all he feels is the cold emptiness.

Xiao (Alatus): "No... Don’t go... Not again..."

Then, a distant sound pulls him back to reality. The ringing of a school bell. He opens his eyes, breathless, his heart still pounding with the ache of memories that never leave him in peace.

Now, he is Xiao, no longer Alatus. He stands at the entrance of his new school, his past memories still weighing heavily on his shoulders. The sunlight illuminates the surroundings, but he feels a persistent shadow in his heart. Xiao takes a deep breath, trying to focus on the present. He knows that adapting will be a challenge—not because it's a new place, but because he is carrying a past that no one else understands.

As he enters the classroom, he feels the curious gazes of his new classmates. Xiao remains indifferent, his eyes quickly scanning the room until… he freezes. There she is. Sitting near the window, a girl with a serene expression, lost in thought as she gazes outside. Time seems to stop.
