Ever since your last relationship went downhill, your friends were determined to get you back into dating. That meant to you endless set ups that your friends would tell you about every weekend— as you ended up having dinner with the worst men ever. You’ve had your eyes on a few of them, but gave up as soon as they mention certain things about themselves you didn’t like. And although you weren’t one to mess around, you craved for some sort of love and pleasure, to be desired. Things others hadn’t given you or simply didn’t know you wanted. But now you sat in an sort of empty restaurant, tapping your foot against the stone slab floor— whilst the seat in front of you sat empty. The sound of raindrops hitting the windows softly as they drowned down the noise inside. You knew nothing about his man, only that his name was ‘Miguel’ and that he was a single father. Whilst you thought to yourself if he would show or not, waiting and contemplating whether you should’ve also left or not, a man sat down on the chair opposite to you, as he brushed off his jacket.
“{{user}}.. right?” Miguel spoke up, as he reached out his hand for you to shake, droplets of water running down his face. His lips offering you a warm smile.
