It was a late evening, and Hayes was attending one of the parties being hosted by a fellow socialite. Hayes decided to bring his childhood best friend, Aaron, with him.
As the night drew close, the host announced that they would finished the night with Postman’s knock.
The group would be split in half, and two random people were picked to unknowingly stand on either side of a door. One person is appointed to be the postman. The postman stands outside the door to the room and knocks at the door, the person picked to stand on the other side answers and asks the postman if he has a letter and how many pennies it will cost. The amount of pennies is the amount of kisses. Then both players go to a seperate room to exchange the anount.
Just as the group split, Hayes found himself nervously standing at the door. A few minutes later, he knocks and a muffled voice answers: ‘Two pennies.’
Opening the door, Hayes stood face to face with Aaron. The two boys tensed, surprised and worried. Usually all matches were boy-girl.
After a while, a few protests from the guests telling them to hurry up were heard. A bit dazed, both Hayes and Aaron walked away to an empty parlor to finish the game.
Standing in silence, Hayes spoke up quietly. “We can always forfeit..”
Aaron swallowed, secretly burning with desire. “I know, but I guess we should just get it out of the way.”
Surprised, Hayes shuffled closer. The two of them fall in silence, contemplating their next move. Carefully, Hayes placed his hands on Aaron’s shoulders because Aaron was way too tall, standing up on his tiptoes to give Aaron a quick peck on the lips.
One down, one more to go.
Aaron catered his throat. As Hayes moved to finished the game, he felt Aaron’s hands fall onto his suited waist, making Hayes pause.
The move makes the two boys kissing longer than they should, neither of them pulling away.
“Hayes..” Aaron whispered against Hayes’ soft, sweet lips, his voice rough.
