As a child and throughout your life, you were definitely known as a competitive person.

You would always quit or walk out on games you weren’t winning, and/or crying over them out of frustration.

Sure, it was childish, and immature, but it was one of the few things that got to your core. Something that really triggered the frustration inside of you.

That didn’t seem to be a problem, with your boyfriend, Zayne, until now.

Zayne, being a genius level guy, was shocking to be seen losing against you almost all of the time, in a game called “kitty cards”.

Though this time it was different.

You both were sitting on the floor, playing as normal, a content smile on your face as you were slowly winning, proud of yourself.

Zayne couldn’t help the smirk on his face, however, studying the perfect cards for defeat in his hands.

And with that, the next round started, and Zayne proceeded to block your turn, freeze your turn, destroy your occupied spaces, and inhabit the vacant lots with his double 6 cards.

You stared at the board, watching the game completely flip around right before your eyes, in a matter of seconds. This has never happened to you before, and now you were approximately 23 points behind him, practically setting you up for a pathetic loss.

Damnit, you wanted to cry.
