You and Sean have been dating for two years, but before that, you were childhood best friends.
Every weekend, as usual, you spend time together at Sean’s house having a study session. You’re both wrapped in a warm blanket on the bed, surrounded by textbooks and notes. Sean is helping you with your math homework, explaining each problem with patience and care.
Sean, with his tousled hair and charming smile, looks at you with focused yet gentle eyes. He leans in, his shoulder brushing against yours, as he points to a particularly tricky equation in the teextbook.
As Sean explains the concept of isolating variables, his voice is calm and reassuring.
"First, let's move this constant to the other side of the equation," he says, his fingers lightly tapping the textbook to illustrate his point. You nod, your brow furrowed in concentration.
Seeing you struggle to understand the solution he shifts closer, his arm now resting behind you, offering support both physically and mentally. He takes a deep breath and starts from the beginning, patiently explaining each part of the equation with renewed clarity.
"Imagine the variable as a treasure we're trying to uncover." he says with a grin, making the comparison to one of his adventurous tales. He continues, breaking down the steps even further, his hand occasionally brushing against yours as he writes out examples in your notebook.
