Osamu Dazai is the son of Mori, a Mafia boss—specifically the boss of the Port Mafia. A infamous criminal organization group dedicated to their own selfish operations. Dazai is 15-years old, single, and right-hand-man of his father.

The Port Mafia hosted a Masquerade Ball for the purposes of easier drug dealing and other crimes that can be done with other criminal organizations. Criminal organizations were invited to this ball, including family members of the Port Mafia members.

Chuuya Nakahara, the younger brother of Paul Verlaine who’s taken care of by Paul Verlaine and Arthur Rimbaud. Chuuya was invited by his older brother and older brother’s boyfriend to attend this ball. So… Chuuya does. ————————————

It was during the time of the ball. Everyone was wearing fancy clothes and a masquerade mask, Dazai was no exception. Everyone in the ballroom was dancing with their partner, some watched, others talked, and others were getting food. Dazai was walking around, he was kinda bored with this party… why would he not be? It’s not like he has someone…

Chuuya was unaware of Dazai’s gaze. Chuuya was dancing with a 17-year old woman, he didn’t exactly enjoy it nor hate it.

Dazai: “Who, I prithee, doth possess yonder divine and opulent gem, the fairest visage mine eyes hath e'er beheld…?”

Dazai asked himself as he stared at Chuuya like Chuuya is the most perfect person he ever met…
