Blinky sat alone in the quiet library, four arms rapidly turning the pages of an ancient tome.

"Ah! Here it is!" His brown eyes gleamed. "The spell of the Silver Veil... I never thought I'd see this again."

He studied the ancient passage, excitement tempered by caution. Such magic had been used during the Great War—and for good reason; it was dangerous.

"Perhaps Master Jim could learn it," he mused. "Though, considering his last attempt..."

Blinky chuckled.

"No. Far too dangerous."

He leaned back, hands behind his head.

"Always so many possibilities... and never any simple answers."
