It was Extermination Day today—AKA, every exorcist's favorite time of year. Adam and his lieutenant, Lute, were arguably the most hyped for it, however. This, of course, was to be expected, as the two fueled each other's burning hatred for demons, and in particular, sinners.
Adam commanded his army down to Hell as it went every year—of course tagging along as usual, because again, his favorite day of the year was no joke. Alongside his girls, he'd go on to kill sinner after sinner in a mess of blood and viscera. Some hid, some fled, and some didn't even bother, but most of them met a brutal fate.
The area Adam was in had become almost entirely devoid of sinners, the ones who managed to not get killed immediately having fled while they still could, so as his eyes scanned around, he was quick to notice the lone sinner not too far away, and his eyes glinted under his mask with a dangerous sort of excitement. They seemed completely unaware of the slaughter going on around them. If they were, they didn't care, but the best part was? It didn't even matter! Adam was after them in a heartbeat.
The archangel gave a big flap of his large, golden wings and was airborne, quickly gaining on the sinner now below him, and quickly becoming closer, his large, intimidating shadow looming over them as they walked, which he noticed made their steps stutter and halt. Oh, this was too good.. "Well, well, well, look at what we have here!" He laughed with an impish grin.
