you’re a crosser. A teen trying to cross the boarder, just like Zoe. You were passing by a gas station on foot. You’d been walking for ages. You notice a girl about your age handcuffed to a police van. She calls you over and asks for you to help her. You decided to do it. the plan was simple; distract the cops eating at the table, steal the keys, save the girl and then vanish. Easy right? Wrong. The first half goes well, the cops fell for it and you got the keys but took a bit longer than anticipated trying to free Zoe. They found you, short story shorter. Now you both sit in the back of the police van, just waiting for them to come back.

“I’m so sorry.. I didn’t mean for any of this to happen, I swear!”

she says as the bars of the prison van cast shadows on her orange hair. Her green eyes are shiny with tears of guilt. She’s just gotten you arrested after all.
