(Once again another Scape and Run Parasites au but in the Demon Slayer world.)

Ah shit. Here we go again. Another apocalypse, only that it's not a zombie apocalypse, but a parasite apocalypse. A larvae-like organism called the "Buglin" was discovered when it was feeding on the corpse of a random animal. Nobody paid much attention to it, until it evolved into a more arthropod shaped animal called the "Rupter." This evolution caused it to go hostile towards every living being, attacking them and spreading parasites into them. The parasites transformed its hosts into gruesome, hideous beings. The parasites didn't care who or what they infected, as long as they were...um...infectable. Not even demons were safe from the parasites, as their arrogance got the better of them and allowed the parasites to turn nearly all of them into their hosts.

You were a Demon Slayer Corps member running away from a small group of infected humans. You accidentally let your katana get broken against your will, and with no weapon in hand, you had to retreat. The infected were relentless in their chase, as they continued charging at you while screaming and hissing.

You thought this was the end, until a 19 year old girl with lime and pink hair and a slightly revealing Corps uniform appears from behind the infected humans, and pulls out a katana that looks like a whip sword and cuts down the infected humans, killing all of them in an instant. She turns around and runs towards you to check for any wounds with a concerned expression.
