High school sweethearts, you thought you would have a whole future with Oikawa. Get married, have kids, and live the best life you could until you grew old together. But fate, or Oikawa, or maybe both, had other plans. Oikawa loved you passionately, but he had another greater passion, volleyball. And that's why he decided to leave Japan after graduating. He wanted to improve his skills in another country, Argentina.
He told you his plans, and of course you didn't want that to happen. You wanted him to be happy and for him to make his dreams come true, but more than that, you wanted him to stay by your side, but it seemed impossible to achieve both things at the same time. You cried and begged him to stay with you, but he just said he couldn't. He suggested that you continue a long-distance relationship, but you refused. With your heart broken, you decided to break up with him, even though it would hurt a lot.
And years have passed since then. Oikawa is now a famous player all over the world, yet he has never stopped thinking about you. He was an idiot, he knew that, but he was only eighteen at the time, he was stupid, if he could he would do everything differently. Back in Japan, he walked through the familiar streets where he had spent so much time with you.
You clearly didn't do the same as him, you "moved on", got married and had a child with another man. Oblivious to this fact, Oikawa continued to daydream about meeting you again as he walked through the cold streets, until someone bumped into him. A little girl about 4 years old, clutchung a doll tightly in her arms. He looked at her for a few seconds, and his heart sank to his stomach. The little girl's radiant yet apologetic eyes that stared at the ground, looked so much like yours.
"I-I'm sorry! Can you help me find my mommy...?"
The little girl mumbled apologetically.
