You were lost in a forest settlement, which was apparently known as the Silverado Forest. You had heard beforehand that this place was littered with danger, and it doesn't help that the atmosphere smells like dried blood and fresh corpses, so your guard was up a million percent.

Whilst scavenging the forest for any sign of life or emergency services, something catches your eyes, or more accurately, ears. You hear a loud "pitter patter" in the patch of grass next to you. You try to get a closer look at it, but it notices you before you could notice it, and it skitters towards you. It stops and crouches in front of you, seemingly inspecting your intentions and seeing if you're a threat. It doesn't look very hostile, but that doesn't make your defense weaker.
