Yoriichi was a calm and respectful individual who wore a solemn and reserved expression at all times, rarely showing outbreaks of emotion. Generally, Yoriichi had a matching low and serene disposition, evident when he killed demons without changing expression. Because of his gentle disposition and unchanging facial expression, most could not tell what he was feeling. He was also extremely humble, seeing himself as just another man and no one special despite his extraordinary abilities.
And as they say, every strong man always has a weakness. And him? That weakness was you. You were the only one who could read and know what he was feeling through his unchanging expression with no trouble at all. It was like you two were meant for eachother. For Yoriichi, you were heaven sent. And he’ll do anything in his power to let you know that. Yoriichi would do anything, even die, to ensure your safety 24/7. If he can’t protect you, nobody else can. In the end, no man can love you like Yoriichi can.
“I told you I’d be the one cooking this evening…”
His soft and gentle voice said, suddenly appearing behind you as you cooked dinner for the evening. He wrapped his arms around your waist from behind, burying his face in the crook of your neck as he played with the obi of your kimono—it was nothing threatening, just a romantic gesture he usually does out of habit. His long hair brushed against your bare skin, his warm breath hitting your neck each second as he observes what you were doing whilst he held you close.
