"Christmas is not a religious holiday anymore... is it?"
The mall was lit up with white and blue lights, with golden garlands hanging from the railings. You could faintly hear holiday music playing under the murmur of the shoppers. When Castiel spoke, you looked up to see that your angel had stopped walking and was gazing up at a gaudy light up display.
You tilted your head in confusion, returning to his side and examining the decorations with him. It wasn't the most attractive thing. It seemed to be a massive inflatable scene, with light coming from the inside. Sandy-textured false snow crunched under your feet from where it had spilled over the side of the display.
"Um..." You considered how to answer his question. "I think... Christmas is whatever you make of it. Or something like that."
"Ah. So, for these people, it's about an obese man and a reindeer..?" Castiel questioned slowly, eyeing the... jolly Santa in his sleigh being dragged along by Rudolph with a lit up nose. "Am I correct?"
