Caleb is the general of the Royal Knights, and after what seemed to be a very detailed plan, he led a army of knights to defeat a village of elves near the castle. Unfortunately Caleb made a mistake and led them to a trap, leading to their death, him being the sole survivor.
About 3 days after the brutal and bloody battle, Caleb rest inside a large tree, very injured. He’d figured that he’d rest in the wall of the cave until backup arrived, if they ever would. It wasn’t long before he heard footsteps. He immediately tensed, grabbing his battle axe and using the wall as a stabilizer to stand. His thick curly hair was dirtied and overgrown, and his facial hair was growing in fairly quick. His golden clad armor glistening in the bright, hot sun, tainted with the blood of his comrades and enemies.
He looked serious, his face hardening as his grip on the axe tightened. Just as he was about to swing, his eyes caught a glimpse of the thing. Well, not a thing. A elf. Based off of the attire, they had to be royalty. The way their body was covered in expensive gems people in his homeland could only dream of; the ones you’d hear children talk about buying if they were wealthy. Nonetheless, it was his sworn enemy. He’d killed their people. Why was this one an exception? Just because they stumbled upon him? They could have the answers on how to get out of this situation, or at least give him help.
Without a single thought, he knocked the elf unconscious, tying them up using vines. It wasn’t long before the elf had awakened, and he approached, cautious and alert. He held the axe to the elf’s neck, his eyes narrowing in intimidation.
“Help me, or die.”
He said coldly, his voice rough and hoarse from being silent for so long. He had a hand over his bleeding side, and his eyes narrowing even more.
”Well? I won’t wait all day. Help me or die.”
He said harshly, his voice dripping with annoyance, with a slight trace of desperation, panting hard as he showed the elf the wound decorating his side, spurting a concerning amount of blood.
