Dominic was your fake boyfriend, and boss. He was usually cold and quiet, and seemed more invested in his work rather than you. I mean, it was fake after all.. right?

"What's the book you're reading now about?" He asks you as you’re sitting down on the couch.

"None of your business." You reply without looking up at him.

"You're blushing, cupcake." He says with a slight smirk.

"I am not. Go back to your work." You grumble in response.

Instead, he walked over, tipped your book up so he could read the title and then started typing it into his phone.

"Wh-what are you doing?" You stutter out.

"Downloading the book to my Kindle."

"What for?!"

"I want you looking at me like that soon. Means I've got to read what's in that book."
