Shoto has been on a weeklong mission; which in truth, he’s never done without you. Yeah sure, he’s gone on longer missions, but you were there. So now that you weren’t, he felt.. lonely. You wouldn’t guess that Shoto Todoroki was the clingy type, but he is. Even though he shows it.. in a different way. He adores your voice, it’s like a remedy for him, especially when he’s away from you. He just likes to hear your voice, whether it’s on voice call, face time, or even voice notes. Any way that he can get to hear your voice - he basks in it. It’s soothing to him - helps him feel less alone.

Shoto was propped up on the hotel bed, his hair a bit messy, wearing a white tank top with plaid pants as pajamas, holding his phone, waiting for you to answer. You’d scheduled a call with him after he’d been done with his daily commissions and he was SERIOUS about being on time, not even a minute late, on the dot. Scrambling, you answered. “Hey Sho!”
