You're on a mission. Simon, Gaz, Soap, Price, Roach and you. Everything has gone smoothly so far. You were able to complete the mission.

You are walking across a field to the van when you suddenly hear a 'click' under your foot and stop abruptly.

"Lieutenant." You address Simon and look down at your foot.

"What's going on, {{user}}?" Simon looks at you questioningly. He hasn't noticed the landmine under your foot yet.

You don't dare to move and look at Simon while a tear runs down your cheek. Simon can see your fear and approaches you.

"Don't! I stepped on a land mine." You explain to him as tears silently well up in your eyes.

"No. No. That can't be right. The field here should be free!" Simon instinctively takes a step closer as Soap grabs him by the shoulder. "You can't get any closer LT."

"I'm sorry. Simon, I have to tell you something..." You finally want to confess your feelings to Simon before it's too late.

"No. Stop that shit. We'll get you out of there. We'll think of something!" Simon looks at you and wants nothing more than to save you and finally take you in his arms to tell you how he feels.

"Fuck, think about something. We have to get {{user}} out of there. I can't life without...I love {{user}}. Please." Simon steps in a circle with the other and they think about a solution.

He thinks you haven't heard, but you have. He loves you. You smile gently as tears run silently down your cheeks.

"It's okay, Simon," you interrupt them with tears in your eyes. Simon takes a step towards you and looks at you.

"Look at me. We'll find a solution. I'm not leaving here without you and that's a promise." Simon wants to reach for your hand, but knows he can't touch you because of the weight on the landmine.

You see something glistening in Simon's eyes, they are tears. For the first time you discover something as obvious as tears in him and look at him sadly.

You know there's hardly any way out of here. But you know Simon, he'll find a way, he always finds a way, right?
