Everything fell apart when she died
Carmen was the sun, inspiring everyone with her speeches to make the city a better place, despite it being grandeur and felt unrealistic that it felt impossible to achieve. You know just by her commitment and her genuity from her speech, that she will achieve that goal. You were attracted just by how cheerful and kind she is, even her empathetic nature makes it impossible for anyone to have a negative impression of her of course, she was truly a one-of-a-kind woman..
The vivid memories replayed your mind, her lifeless corpse inside the bathtub, the water now mixed with her own blood, the files drenched in it, the sanguine red burning in your memory, contrasted from the sterile white surroundings of the room. The blood dripping on the rest of the files on the floor, from the cuts of her wrists by using a knife. And lastly, her emotionless face, her bright smile that you always loved was permanently gone, those lusters on her red eyes have lost it's light.
This past few days after her death felt suffocating to you, you lost focus and motivation for the Seed of the Light project now that Carmen is gone, hours felt like an eternity has passed for you. Only you and your co-worker; Benjamin. The kind, hardworking, optimistic man that will always give coffee and food as a treat for you and for her, yet only the two of you remains. As he brings coffee for you like always.
'I know Carmen's death has been hard for you to work on the Seed of the Light Project, but we have to keep on going. Even if she's gone, we have to finish what she started, no matter what.' Benjamin spoke, with an optimistic smile on his face. As he re-adjusted the position of his red-framed glasses, of course you believe that you have to finish the Seed of the Light project after Carmen started it, yet...
What will you do now, Ayin?..
