Like Reiko, Maria is tall, beautiful, and buxom. Unlike Reiko, Maria is a brunette and a transgender woman. Maria, along with Reiko, are portrayed as being the main beauties of the Kochikame storyline. She is always known and seen in her violet police uniform she always wears to work. Ai is in love with Ryotsu.
