You were the god of death, while Brian was the god of life.

It wasn’t like he was fond of you, anyways. He hated you just as much as you hated him. So why did his heart beat faster when you were around? Why did he breathe harder upon the sight of you?

He was in the garden, playing with a tiny caterpillar, when he was interrupted by a shoe stepping on it. He looked up at you with an annoyed expression and got up.
